The league age of a player will be his/her age as of September 1st,
2007. Players must register in their appropriate division.
A photocopy of your child's birth certificate must be included if you did not provide one last year.
Registration fees include a team jersey and shorts as well as awards (trophies/medals) given out at the end of the season.
Players must provide appropriate gym shoes that must have a non-marking sole.
REFUNDS - FCYBA will issue refunds, minus a $25.00 processing fee, prior to the first
league game. However, those players withdrawing who have made their school teams will be
issued a full refund. To request a refund, email us at board@fcyba.com with your name, the player’s name,
and your phone number. We will contact you back to confirm the refund. Your fees will be refunded
within 14 business days.
CONFERENCES - Divisions 1, 4, 7, and 8 will be divided into eastern and
western conferences. Divisions 2 and 3 will be divided into southern, eastern and western conferences.
Southern and eastern conferences include players whom the coaches evaluate as being highest in the age group
with regard to skills/potential. Scores and standings will be kept for all divisions except Division 0.
Division 0 is primarily an introduction to basketball and serves as an instructional league.
TRYOUT SESSIONS - Players must attend one tryout session so that they may
be evaluated by the coaches prior to the draft. If your child does not attend tryouts, he/she will only
be eligible for the western conference draft (where applicable). Tryout schedules will be
available at walk-in registration and on our web site.
VOLUNTEERS - Our league relies heavily on parent volunteers.
WE WILL ONLY FORM THE NUMBER OF TEAMS PER DIVISION THAT WE HAVE PARENTS VOLUNTEER TO COACH. If you
are interested in coaching or other volunteer positions,
please email us at board@fcyba.com with your name and telephone number so that a league official can contact
you. We do provide a coach’s clinic for general instruction prior to the start of practices.
LEAGUE GAMES - Division 0 plays on Saturdays only at Famewell School. All other divisions play on weeknights and/or Saturdays. The schedules vary by gym availability.
