Hello FCYBA Families!
We are thrilled to share that we’ve completed the drafting process and are now putting the final touches on assembling the teams for this season! Once everything is finalized, you’ll receive an email with your child’s team assignment and coach information — we can’t wait for you to meet your team!
This year is especially meaningful, as FCYBA proudly celebrates its 39th season of serving our community. Nearly four decades of youth basketball is something truly special, and we’re grateful to all the families, players, volunteers, and coaches who continue to make this league exceptional. With your support, this season is shaping up to be one of our best yet — full of energy, excitement, and unforgettable memories.
Practice schedules and game dates will be sent out soon, and everything will also be available on Sports Engine by the end of the week, putting all the details right at your fingertips.
We are beyond excited for what’s ahead and look forward to a fantastic season filled with growth, teamwork, new friendships, and fun! Wishing you all a Thanksgiving filled with peace, love, and joy. We can’t wait to see everyone on the court soon!
Let’s make this 39th season one to remember!
Best regards,
Annette Aldape / Board Members

First Colony Youth Basketball Association (FCYBA) is the largest and most experienced youth basketball organization based in the Sugar Land/First Colony area. FCYBA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that serves the surrounding Fort Bend communities. Founded in 1986 we begin our 39th year expecting over 200 youth to participate in the league. With your help we can continue our tradition of engaging boys and girls in interactive and competitive fun! Please consider being a sponsor for the upcoming 2025-2026 season. In return, we believe your company will directly benefit from the increased visibility and exposure to more than 500 parents, grandparents, friends and family that come out to watch and support our players. You can become a sponsor for as little as $100.00. Consider… • Your company name printed on the back of our team jerseys…team sponsor • Receiving a commemorative league appreciation plaque that can be proudly displayed at your business • Your company name listed on our website (www.fcyba.com) with a link to your company website, and the option to offer special discounts or coupons for your company’s products and services. • Participating in “Customer Touch Events” where your company can directly interact with league parents, families, friends and coaches. Come out to one of the gyms, set up a table, and talk directly to the league families about your business. Please see the attached form that shows the available sponsorship levels and associated benefits. Feel comfortable knowing that 100% of the money from your sponsorship goes directly to operate our league, including equipment purchases, gym time, uniforms, referees and security costs. Your contribution is tax deductible. We hope you will choose to help our children play basketball in a positive and safe environment. If you have any questions about our league or our Sponsorship Program, please contact us via email at aaldape16@gmail.com.
